Classic LASHES
Classic eyelash extensions are simple, beautiful and natural-looking. They are applied on a 1:1 ratio, meaning that one extension is attached to one natural lash. This allows you to achieve a natural enhancement and the results should be soft and natural-looking. Classic lashes won’t add much volume, but will add length and will offer an even lash line that opens up the eye.
Hybrid LASHES
Hybrid lash extensions are a blend of one-to-one Classic lashes and Volume fans. The Hybrid style creates a blended look designed to represent the varying lengths of natural lashes. If you are looking for a little more volume than the classic look without it being too heavy, hybrid lash extensions are the perfect choice.
Volume LASHES
Volume eyelash extensions are where two or more individual extensions are attached to each natural lash. They are first formed into fans, which is where the desired number of lashes are fanned out and as a “bouquet”, applied onto one natural lash.
Precare
You should arrive without eye makeup and mascara-free. Any makeup on your natural lashes can interfere with the adhesive bond and shorten your eyelash extension lifespan.
ALSO, it is extremely important that your lashes be as clean as possible.
Aftercare
Avoid showering, swimming, the use of saunas, and steam rooms for the first 24 hours, as this will affect your adhesive bond.
Do not pull, rub, or sleep on lashes. Avoid waterproof eye makeup and mascara. Avoid all oil-based products and makeup remover around your eye area.
Brush your lashes daily with a clean mascara wand. Do not use an eyelash curler, perm, or tint your eyelash extensions.
Washing your lashes will make them last longer (wait 48 hours after application)! Please use a lash-specific shampoo to ensure proper cleansing (available at Art of Lash). Be sure to cleanse daily to remove excess oils and debris.
Clients with sensitivities or allergies should avoid drinking wine for the first 24 hours, as it may increase sensitivities and cause an allergic reaction. Lash shedding is a normal process which happens to all of us (with or without lash extensions). Book your fill every 2-4 weeks to keep your lashes looking full.

The natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes directly influences the longevity of your eyelash extensions. Refills should be required every 2 to 3 weeks, but this does depending on your daily facial cleansing routine and physical activity.
Augmenting your natural lashes with extensions elevates your lashes to a point that mascara is generally no longer necessary. However, a water-based mascara can be used for those that would still like to add a touch more lift.
For the first 24 hours, avoid sports and recreation activities that would cause you to sweat, especially those taking place in humid conditions. Examples include, but are not limited to, swimming, showering, visits to spas/saunas, tanning. After the initial 48 hours you can return to your regular routine, as the lash adhesive will be fully secure. It is still advised however to steer clear of high-temperature and humidity saunas as they can loosen the adhesive bond prematurely.
The ideal time to wait before washing your face and wetting your eyelash extensions is 24 hours. The lash adhesive needs that time to bond securely.

Full Set appointments take 2.5 to 3 hours depending on your chosen style. Bi-weekly refills take 60 minutes every 2-3 weeks.
